Tip #6
Toxins
Did you know that over 4 Billion pounds of toxic chemicals are released into our environment every year? 1.2 Billion pounds of pesticides are used in the US every year alone. Studies report the average American consumes 124 lbs. of food additives per year. Exposure to paints, floorings, fumes, smoke, drugs and more make it virtually impossible to avoid toxins. All of these toxins are responsible for many diseases and constantly overburden your immune system.
How do we reduce our toxic exposure?
1) Drink 64oz or 2 quarts of purified water per day.
2) Avoid high fat diets, additives and preservatives.
3) Try to eat as many organic fresh fruits and vegetables as possible.
4) When able, choose free range, grass fed meats.
5) Invest in a high quality air purifier for your home, not just an ionizer.
6) When working around chemicals, take the time to wear protective masks and clothing.
7) Replace your air conditioner filters monthly.
